What is Ethereal Arts Northwest?
Have you ever dreamed of running away with the circus? Or learning to fly? Or maybe you're looking for a new form of fitness?! Whatever your desire, aerial is an adventure that will change your life!
In our aerial fitness classes, we teach skills on corde lisse (rope), silks, sling, Lyra (hoop), and handstands. We offer a safe and encouraging environment where anyone can learn new skills, get a great workout, have the opportunity to perform, and achieve new goals every day!
At Ethereal Arts Northwest we teach with an understanding of body mechanics and are very mindful of how each skill is performed. We work very closely with students on their body awareness, core strength, and proper muscle engagement. We condition strength and flexibility regularly, along with new skills.
You don't need circus or gymastics experience to get started with Aerial. Aerial is an amazing activity for anyone and everyone! There is absolutely no athletic background required. Come join us for a fun, empowering, exciting, and challenging workout! We look forward to meeting you!
We have several classes starting in October for new students! Please see descriptions of the classes below and click on the link to find out more about all of our classes and our weekly schedule.

This is a great addition to your regular training and will help build the endurance needed for advanced skills and performances. Students must have completed at least 3 classes to participate. Open Gym- This class is open to those that have gone through the intro class or have been approved to work more independently. Time TBD.
Hi my name is Katie Lynch, and I am the owner of Ethereal Arts Northwest! My circus journey began about five years ago. During my senior year of college I was introduced to aerial by no other than my wonderful mother. After my first class I knew that my life was about to take a very different path. I continued training with Pamella Inveen at Gig Harbor Aerial Fitness, and not before long I was performing and assisting in some beginner classes. Over the last year I have had the chance to coach several classes and teach workshops on some of my travels.
The reason I am running this company today is because of the amazing training that Pamella gave me at Gig Harbor Aerial Fitness. As she moves back to a place she loves I simply decided to carry on what she started under a new name. There is already such an incredible aerial community here and I hope to see it grow even more! Aerial is my passion and it is something I intend to pursue for the rest of my life. My hope is that through this company I can share that passion with you!
